“Popped in to get take away coffees and a few bits to eat. Unbelievably long wait. Had we been told we would have gone elsewhere. We won't go back. Shame as brownies and sausage roll were very tasty.”

“Came here on a Saturday morning due to the google reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Coffee was good and service was great! Tables outside had heaters and blankets which was ideal for us. We had a cheese toastie and avo on toast which was 10/10. Will come back soon”

“So have been here many times, staff, service, and food/cakes was and always is excellent. My thoughts when i sat in this time, and watched behind the counter , so my main concern is , Not once did the staff wash their bare hands, going out the back three times touching what ? , touching cakes , my grated cheese , counters everywhere with bare hands , with the risk of cross contamination everywhere, they do have bright yellow merrygold gloves to use to wash up, but not actually wash their own hands. This could be a serious incident with anyone with nut / wheat allergies . So I think you need to have a staff chat and realign your "Hygiene safety standards"”

“I visited recently with family, certainly not a regular. Coffee was very nice, cakes look great. My wife had a goats cheese toasty which reflected the cost, and looked delicious, while I had avocado on toast. One slice of bread and avocado, hmmm...I was left thinking it was a bit stingy. Charge a bit more or offer a optional larger size perhaps? Possibly a regular haunt if you want good coffee, cake and a toasty.”

“The best banana bread in Beckenham, I said it. Homemade I'm told. The coffee was also very well made. This cafe has a lot going for it. Plenty of thought must have gone into the refurb, and the views out are great. However, it struggles to create an atmosphere as there are such few seats...and the interior is on the generic side.”
